Calling all Girl Scout troops! Thurman Orthodontics in Bakersfield is purchasing Girl Scout cookies to help local troops meet their sales goals and earn badges. All cookies will be sent to American soldiers stationed overseas as well as local law enforcement and first responders.
Dr. Thurman will purchase two boxes of cookies from any Girl Scout that comes to his office in uniform.
“It is important for young girls to know their worth, especially in business. Selling Girl Scout cookies is their first endeavor in entrepreneurism, and we’re happy to boost their confidence any way we can. And donating the boxes to our troops overseas and first responders at home is a small way to express our gratitude for all they do,” said Dr. Michael Thurman.
